All grown up!

Kassidy started school, and I'm heart broken. My little angle is once again out in the world. She has a friend in her class named Kassidy. They think its awesome that they have the same name and spell it he same. :)  I pray she has an amazing year, and really just has a blast. I love you Kassidy!

Proud mommy moment... Kassidy learned how to tie her shoes!!

The Haertling Reunion

It's always fun spending time with family. And we had a blast at the reunion! Kassidy and Tripp caught their first fish, which was so exciting. They went none stop. When we finally got home we slept for 3 days!

Fish for dinner!

The actual reunion was pretty cool, but I enjoyed just hanging with my dads family more. He also drove me around and showed me everything he built when he was younger. And heard a thousand stories. There is never a dull moment when I'm with my daddy! And I'm so grateful for my wonderful family.  Im really sad that I didn't get a huge family picture! :(

Happy 4th of July!

Thanks to Instagram, I have been slacking on my blog! But we have defiantly had a fun 4th of July!

We made these 4th of July drinks that I wasn't too sure about... But they turned out awesome! Pinterest, what would I do without you? And yes Tripp somehow manages to always have something on his face. :S

Nana and Papa came and we decided to go camping. If you could even call it camping. :) When we got hot, we just went inside with the AC! And when you need to shower, or take your kids to the bathroom for the 30th time... I just went right in the trailer! It was awesome!
As soon as I got up for 2 seconds, guess who was laying in my spot???

Near the campground there was pool that had 4 huge slides and a bunch of smaller pools.  It was such a blast! And to make it ten times more fun was having my daughter who can finally swim on her own, be able to go on all them with me! Tyler and I have always switched off watching the kids. It's fine, (you do what you got to do) but now that we have our little go getter, up for anything... Makes it so much more fun!

Right across the park was a BMX track that had races going on, and then a little firework show. And tons of places for Tripp to ride his bike! Perfect entertainment for my little man.  :)

My kids love being outside and camping. Then when their friends showed up, it made life that much better! And then to top it all off, Nana busts out the slip and slide! Way to much fun for one weekend. :)

Went swimming at a friends house, and he came out of the toy room ready to play baseball! Love that boy!

Hello Goodbye

We had a blast at the hello goodbye dinner Saturday night. Not only was the food amazing, but was a much needed date! :) So they say goodbye to the residents leaving, and welcome in those coming. Tyler and Andrew where given these ugly hillbilly teeth (didn't quite understand that gag gift) but they also got their new partner for the next 3 years... Their pagers:( It was tons of fun seeing all those he will be working with. But back to the food! It was awesome! They had all of these crazy super nice appetizers, and then they bring out the frog legs.. Was a little confused cause they didn't seem as fancy as the other ones they had. But of course I had to try them! What a wonderful night! Wish I had taken more pictures.

A new beginning

We packed the house and then cleaned the whole apartment. We had shampooed the carpets, and by night they had still been wet. We were planning on sleeping on the ground and getting up the next morning to drive, but we would have got soaked. So instead at 10:00 at night we decide to drive a bit, then get a hotel. We made it to Columbus. The next morning we made it to our new home.  Then we got unloaded. :( And we kept going and going and going! We have been going non stop. When I lie in bed at night, I crash. I don't think I have ever slept that hard before.

We've had a few ups and a few downs with the moving in process, but all in all we are very pleased with our new home. Out our back door we have a mulberry tree, and a ton of wild strawberry plants. Not that I'll be eating them. But Kate seems to like them.

In the car with me I had the twins.(Who slelpt most of the way) so the one I had to keep me company was him... I thought he was riding with Tyler...

Goodbye med school friends!

               Happy birthday Tripp
I'm so lucky! Stacia is going to Evansville too!
Ya only 4 of them remembered their white coats! Darn it!

                Burn baby burn!
I'm not a fan of saying goodbye

Tyler had to take them all for a ride.

Our journey home

It's always so fun to see family. Both Tyler and I come from big families. When we a gatherings it's no little task. There's 8 siblings in Tyler's family, and 9 in mine. Granted you can't get everyone, but we sure try. Family is one the most important things to me. I could live anywhere, as long as I'm close to them. And I want my kids to have a great relationship with all there cousins.
