A Little Pampering

Kassidy has wanted me to make her a beauty mask for quite some time. I on the other hand have been wanting some pampering myself. Not exactly what I had in mind, but you get what you get. Of course after I was done with Kassidy, Tripp wanted in on the fun... Then Kassidy had to do my face, cause its just better when someone else does it for you!

Another year older!

Well this year came and went. I don't remember time going by this fast when I was younger! I was a little put out, because I wanted to spend the day driving around with Kass getting all the freebies that I thought you could get. Luckily I called all the places before I drove around. Ya there was only 2 in my area. Lame right? There was also a couple that where buy one get one free, but I just wanted free!! :) Well I ended up with a free meal at Denny's and on top of that off Saturdays kids eat free. So we all ate dinner for free! And the other one was free movies at redbox. So Kass and I each got a movie for free! I rented what to expect when your expecting.(which I thought was so funny!) And watched it over at my friend Cassie's! And enjoyed some very yummy sugar cookies!!!

The thought of making a cake made me sick! I got a package of cookie dough, so all Kassidy had to do was put them on a cookie sheet! Then we got on FaceTime so Tyler could sing Happy Birthday with Tripp and Kassidy!

So close yet so far!

Its been awhile since I put up a picture of this fast growing belly. Mostly for a couple of reasons... Tyler has been gone, so getting a picture is a little bit of a task. Kassidy loves to take pictures, but some days shes not really in the mood...  The other reason would be that I just don't like pregnancy pictures. I am just over 24 weeks and my belly measures 29. If anyone has recommendations for what to put on an itchy tummy I'm open for opinions!!

Well as for an update, everything is going smoothly and both babies look fantastic. Instead of the twins being stacked on top of each other, now they are side by side. My tummy just gets punched and kicked all day long, if it's not one it's the other. It's so fun to already get a sense of who they are. I feel like I might have a little Tripp and a little Kassidy in there. One calm and one full of energy! But I guess we will just have to wait and see.

In other news, Tyler has spent the last month in Provo Utah, and got to have a little when he wasn't working. I was so jealous!!! Not that I would have been able to do any of it right now anyway! Now he is on his way to Dallas Texas. And I hope this month goes by a little faster than last month. Cause boy do we miss him!

 Kassidy had her birthday party earlier this month, but of course we had to have a little cake on her birthday. Tripp picked it out, and was so excited about it. We also got to go to McDonald's for dinner. What kid doesn't love McDonald's play place?

She finished T-ball a couple weeks ago, and they all received metals. Kassidy was so excited, she said its just like ones at the Olympics. :)  

I just had to add this last picture cause it just cracks me up. If any of you know Tripp, he will sleep anytime anywhere! I handed him his plate, and no joke by the time I was back with Kassidy's plate he was already asleep.

Kindergarten???

I know everyone says it, but you don't really grasp the concept till it happens to you! My baby girl is grown up and of to her first day of school. Tripp had a hard time watching her leave. Probably one of the saddest things to see. He was running after the bus as it drove off! About broke my heart. I love how much he always wants to be around Kassidy. I know that might end soon so I better enjoy it right? I wanted a baby picture with this, but they aren't on this computer.

 And this was about the time the waterworks came!!! (I'm just gonna blame it on the pregnancy) Oh my gosh, she is gone till 4! What the heck? I miss that shes not running around my house driving me nuts! This is going to take some getting use to!

Birthday Girl

What a day for Kassidy!! I wish I was 5!

 I would like to say I threw this together in no time, but I would be lying! I'm pretty sure all I did for 2 days was decorate for her party that lasted only 2 hours! SO much work!! But so worth it for the look on her face! She had a blast! All the girls got spoiled and made out like bandits! There was never a dull moment!! Thanks to everyone that helped me in anyway! There is no way I could have done this by myself!!! :)

 At the strawberry patch they got to pop balloons filled with candy, (I think I like that better than a pinata!) and pin the strawberry on the cupcake

New bed for ME?

We have never had a real crib in my house. My kids lived in the pack-n-play till they where about 10-11 months old, then I moved them to a regular bed. I don't have a clue why I never got one. But we knew we where gonna have to get something for these girls, seeing how 2 babies aren't going to fit in that pack-n-play.  We where lucky to get this wonderful crib, and I have to say its huge. Looking at my pack-n-play, I can see why my kids never put up a fight going into the big bed. LOL!  When I put it up, and Tripp decided that it was his new bed. He laid down and it was a good 30-40 minutes before I saw him again. He loved it. And when Tyler got home he ran and showed him his new bed. It broke my heart to tell him that it wasn't for him. He kept saying "For me mom? For me?" I guess he still has a little while till the twins come anyway.
