Happy Happy Easter!!

This has been a fun week for sure! I love Easter, but sometimes I feel like things drift away from what it's all about. Kinda like christmas. This year I wanted everything on Saturday, the Easter egg hunt and their Easter basket scavenger hunt.(aka all the bunny stuff) And Sunday we can just focus on our Savior and the Atonement. Worked out great! I'm defiantly going to continue that. We had fun dying eggs with friends! Of course the eggs kinda all turned a yucky brown. He dunked them 3-4 times in different colors and then finished with some paint. Tripp loved every minute! His hands ended up being some nasty color. Then we had a big egg hunt at the church. With so many people it might qualify as a ward activity! :) We loved it! And going to miss everyone when we leave. But I would be lying if I said we aren't excited!! :)

Never send Tyler if you want pictures! Kassidy was finding eggs outside, and Tyler didn't get a single one!

Happy Easter everyone. I hope it was wonderful! My kids are growing so fast and I have to savor every second of it! (sniff, sniff) I love my family so much!  I'm so grateful to have the gospel in my life. And I'm grateful for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and for his atoning sacrifice. HE IS RISEN! 

Magic Slime

I saw this thing on how to make magic slime so I thought I would give it a try. It turned out pretty cool, but not what I thought it was. I wanted a slim that the kids could manipulate in a bag to make letters. This stuff feels slimy, but is one sold piece. And if it breaks apart, won't go back together. It is also what you make bouncy balls with. We might be giving that a try next. I ended up just putting flour, cornstarch and water in a bag and it worked pretty good. Tripp thought he was doing his letters, but it was more along the lines of just running his fingers across. Kassidy on the other hand loved it. And it occupied her for a good hour! :)

Thumb sucker! :(

As much as I try... Our little Ashlyn would prefer her thumb than a pacifier. She will take one, there is no problem with that. But if it falls out she just plugs it with her thumb! I'm going to keep offering the binky of course, but I have this feeling she's gonna end up doing anyway!!! Blah!! I have always been anti thumb sucker, so of course the irony is that I have one right!

The waiting is FINALLY OVER!

After all of the schooling, it has finally paid off! We are onto our next journey. Residency!!! Evansville Indiana here we come! This has been one of the scariest things to think about.(the unknown) And now thats its here I couldn't be more excited! It was feeling as though we would be in school for the rest of our life. It's amazing the way things play out, the good and the bad. Just when you think you have it all figured out, the man upstairs lets you know he is still in charge. They say if you ever want to make him laugh, to tell him your plans... Well I did, an now I have twins! Do with that what you may. :)

St. Patty's Day

Leo the leprechaun made an appearance again this year! He colored our milk green, drew on the bathroom mirror and left them some of his gold. I love seeing their reaction. Kassidy was upset that he didn't draw a mustache on Tripp like he did last year! :) I love having kids cause it brings back all the memories and the magic from when I was kid. I never want them to grow up and stop believing in things, cause I love seeing them light up!

 

You know how they say you should have lots of color on your plate? Nailed it!! The kids loved it, which makes it all worth it. Cause even though it tastes the same... When its green, its just wrong! 

Sisters

These girls have us all wrapped around their fingers. Even Trippers will try and help if they cry.( And I thought he only cared about his cars!)They are so happy and always bring a smile to our faces! When they giggle it is probably the cutest thing you have ever heard. And my favorite thing right now is putting them in the tub. They go nuts splashing and having a blast. The only reason I get them out is cause the water is gets cold. All in all these months have flew by. My theory is that the more kids you have the faster time goes. They are almost 4 months already!

Its funny to watch them stare at each other. And I love it when they make each other smile! :)

I'm loving the fact that Kass can match the girls! And she loves it too!

Dr.Seuss Week

This past week Kassidy got to dress up in honor of Dr.Seuss. This girl cracks me up and I hope she never changes. Tuesday was silly sock day, for the book Fox in Socks. Thursday was green day for Green Eggs and Ham. And lastly, Friday was hat day for none other than Cat In The Hat. :)(of course I forgot to take a picture for that day though. :( I love that she loves school!

She was just testing which one she liked the best.

Don't judge... I know I needed to fold laundry.

Ended up picking the white ones. She liked the fact that they made her pants look like shorts.
