Tripp's Helmet

He was so determined to ride that bike!! Such a cutie!
After we ride bikes he will leave his helmet on forever!!! I would always try and get it off and finally just gave up. When he wants it off he will tell me. Last week he fell over the swing and hit his head on the ground, luckily he had on his helmet! :)

Since we've been gone...

I know its been almost a month, but when I get around family I forget about everything! Well after 37 hours of driving we finally made it to Washington! We drove 19 hours the first day, then another 9 hours to our friend Dustin's house and spent the day with his wonderful parents! And then the final stretch of 9 hours... My kids were AWESOME! Lets hope its like that on the way home too. Besides the occasional, "Mom are we there yet?" I don't think it could have gone any better.
The first week we started at the Kellys. There was a big family reunion with the Kelly kids. We all went to the temple together, although Tyler wasn't able to make it. I guess we did get to come because he was doing his privet practice here, so I can't complain. But even though he didn't get to go the Kellys are still stuck with me! We took a huge family picture with EVERYONE, which I can't wait to put in my house.

The house was packed full of kids. Thankfully my mommy let us borrow her travel trailer. We parked it right next to the house and had our own little space. The girls watched a movie in it. :)
Kassidy has had none stop fun! Cousins everywhere. But after playing so hard she was exhausted. I think she slept for 2 days!

Tripp has got to drive trucks, cars, tractors and 4 wheelers. He has been spoiled!
Such a boy!

Off with her wheels!

For the past week we have been loosening Kassidy's training wheels. Then yesterday she said she was ready to take them off. So that's just what we did. We had a couple of falls of course, but in the end she was telling me to let go! Yesterday she had wheels and today none! And she was riding like a champ! She is growing up so fast and I'm enjoying every minute. And Tripp is a stud on his pink scooter. He cruses down that hill!

That sneaky Leprechaun

I know it almost took me a week, but life gets crazy sometimes, RIGHT? Well St. Patty's day was so much fun! Last year I completely forgot about it, but this year we really got into it. When Kass woke up she noticed that the leprechaun drew on everyone feet and legs. Even drew on Tripp's face! :) He left clothes in the refrigerator, turned the milk, eggs and our toilet water green! Kassidy thought it was so funny. She wanted to catch that sneaky leprechaun so badly! Then later that day we went to the park to enjoy the wonderful weather we have been having. What a great day!

OOPS

Well Tripp finally road his bike to death! We were about half way home when his handle starts to wobble... Then about 30 seconds later he breaks the darn thing right off. Oops. He kept trying to stick it back on, then he tried to ride it without. Nope that didn't work. Personally I was kinda happy to see the thing go. He was about 2 bike rides away from tearing a hole right through his shoe. Ty says, "it's all part of being a boy." I say ummm are you kidding me? I just bought those last month!!!! On the up side I only paid $2.00 for that bike and he rode it for a year! Now he is stuck riding Kassidy's scooter, which is PINK! :)

Don't Mess!

I am so proud of Kassidy. She has been working so hard to get her next belt. She came out of class with a smile from one ear to the other and a new belt in her hands! :) She is now white with yellow stripe. I think Tyler's plan is for her be a black belt before she can start dating! lol! Watch out everyone this girl knows TAE KWON DO!!!

We are crazy people!

It's been so nice the past few days that it made me sick to be inside. We went and played at the park...puddle city! Tripp seemed to find everyone without fail! Kassidy my sweet princess wanted nothing to do with them. When we walked back to the car I almost slipped down the hill it was so muddy. I turned to tell Kass, but by then she had already slid all the way down on her butt! She was very upset, but I was just a bit more. I had things to do, and didn't have time to run home and change her clothes. Then I remembered the "Emergency Pants" for Tripp. Tried them on Kass and it worked! She thought it was so funny and told me to take a picture, then she wore them all day! Afterwards at the grocery store Tripp passed out on Kassidy, and I had to capture that moment!
Then the next day after Tyler got home went went for a hike around Hinckley lake! It was so muddy out there!! And yet so beautiful! The kids where in the stroller and Tyler was carrying his backpack.(which was loaded up with 50 pounds in chains) We kept switching off, stroller backpack. He hated giving up his backpack, but I wanted in on the fun too! :) You would have thought we where training for the Olympics the way we ran up the hills. It was so funny! We got some weird looks from people, but who cares I know we're crazy!
